The Oriental Lieutenant
The very first Delilah Dirk full-length graphic novel! Selim must abandon his life in Constantinople while trying to live up to the principles that insist he repay Delilah for saving his life. All he must do is loot a pirate king’s treasury, escape an entire town’s-worth of angry citizens, and survive being blown off the top of an aqueduct by cannon fire. What could be more simple?
The Aqueduct
A Delilah Dirk adventure! Delilah’s friendship with Selim is tested when his decision-making skills take them from an unpleasant situation to a very, very unpleasant situation. Much destruction and emotional turmoil ensue! The Aqueduct will be published as part of Flight Volume 5 this summer.
The Treasure of Constantinople
Delilah Dirk and the Treasure of Constantinople is the story of how Selim abd al Rahim is freed from a life of casual cruelty and discovers that he may, actually, be appreciated by someone – all triggered by the appearance of a sword-weilding woman with a nigh-unbelievable background. This 28-page story is currently published through online comics printers.
Old Oak Trees
Old Oak Trees is a factual retelling of a story told to me by my Grandmother. In it, young Doris Longdon is convinced that a great, evil presence lurks in the Cheshire woods, and that faeries will protect her from it. She is wrong, unfortunately – but in a very pleasant way. Published in Flight Volume 3, Old Oak Trees was nominated for a Will Eisner award in the “Best Short Story” category.
