Details!
For flying boats made of canvas and wood, a swarm of burning arrows is a very inconvenient thing. So it is that Delilah Dirk and her traveling companion, Selim abd al-Rahim, find themselves leaping from their flaming ship in time to avoid being shattered at the foot of an ancient aqueduct. Now stranded in an unknown valley with no immediately obvious course of action, Delilah is paralyzed by indecision. Additionally, the complete destruction of all the ship’s hard-earned cargo has left her in no mood to entertain imaginative solutions from Selim. When The Evil Army of Sulamein The Irascible appears along the horizon, though, even the most illogical ideas start to become attractive…
