The Treasure of Constantinople

Delilah Dirk and The Treasure of Constantinople: Banner Image

Details!

It is the 19th century, and Selim abd al-Rahim is a Captain in the Janissary Army of the Ottoman Empire. It is not a position he is entirely well-suited for, and he struggles to gain honour and the acceptance of his superiors. When a strange woman is captured trespassing on the Sultan’s palace grounds, things only get worse for Selim. Relaying the prisoner’s unbelievable claims, he finds himself struggling to maintain the already tenuous grasp he has on his position. When the prisoner escapes, though, it is his life that he finds is on the line…

Delilah Dirk and the Treasure of Constantinople was produced over the course of several months’ worth of evenings and weekends in the Spring of 2007. I outlined some of the progress on my Livejournal page (starting at the end of January).
