Maggie came to Bardel after Mucha Lucha finished up, and was both a challenge and a joy. The character designs were a lot more detailed (nevermind the two extra arms most characters had), the backgrounds featured heavy PNG texturing that would crash Flash if you tried to copy/paste them, and the standards were generally higher.
Fortunately, the show was actually entertaining. The writing is great, the voice acting was excellent. There are things in Maggie that you wouldn't expect out of a Disney saturday morning show. And of course, the show looked great. So it was nice to be a part of something you can be proud of. |
